All The Special January Days

on January 3, 2018

So my mom and me, we’re getting ready for Martin Luther King Jr Day on January 15, and I said that on my fan page, there were all kinds of important dates coming up in January that needed celebrating even if they aren’t as important as Martin Luther King Jr Day.  I even told her I wrote down a whole list of special days and she said probably I was going to have too much work putting up all those posts and maybe I would forget some.

That got me to thinking, and my mom’s right.  There’s so many that maybe I’m going to forget some, and if I forget some, I’m going to feel superly bad about that.  But then I came up with a great idea and that idea is to make a post today all about the important days in January so you guys can celebrate the ones you think are important and not miss any of them.  If this works out, I’ll keep doing this every single month so everybody can remember important dates.  So here’s the January dates on my list.

Important days in January:

  1. Martin Luther King Jr Day (January 15)

Important food days in January:

  1. National Spaghetti Day (January 4)
  2. National Whipped Cream Day (January 5)
  3. National Shortbread Day (January 6)
  4. National Milk Day (January 11)
  5. National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day (January 14)
  6. National Popcorn Day (January 19)
  7. National Cheese Lovers Day (January 20)
  8. National Granola Bar Day (January 21)
  9. National Blonde Brownie Day (January 22)
  10. National Pie Day (January 23)
  11. National Peanut Butter Day (January 24)
  12. National Peanut Brittle Day (January 26)
  13. National Chocolate Cake Day (January 27)
  14. National Blueberry Pancake Day (January 28)
  15. National Corn Chip Day (January 29)
  16. National Croissant Day (January 30)

Important animal days in January:

  1. National Save The Eagles Day (January 10)
  2. National Winnie The Pooh Day (January 18)
  3. Penguin Awareness Day (January 20)
  4. Squirrel Appreciation Day (January 21)

Important other days in January:

  1. National Clean Off Your Desk Day (January 9)
  2. National Bubble Bath Day (January 9)
  3. National Rubber Ducky Day (January 13)
  4. National Hat Day (January 15)
  5. National Nothing Day (January 16)
  6. National Hugging Day (January 21)
  7. National Compliment Day (January 24)
  8. National Opposite Day (January 25)
  9. National Have Fun At Work Day (January 28)
  10. National Puzzle Day (January 29)
  11. National Backward Day (January 31)

Probably you’re thinking that’s way too many important dates to remember but you don’t have to remember them all.  Just remember the ones you want to remember, and if you know someone with a January birthday, put that important date on your list, too.

My mom says I like making lists too much but I don’t think so because lists mean I can check things off after they get done, and that means hardly anything gets forgotten unless I accidentally left it off my important list of things to remember.

Anyway, I really hope my list of January dates helps other people.  I’m going to give the list of important food days to my Grandma Two Rivers because I think she’s going to want to celebrate almost all of those days (probably all of them for sure if Grandpa Two Rivers gets his way).  Maybe if I’m lucky, she’ll invite me over to visit almost every single day of January starting with tomorrow because I love how much fun spaghetti twirling is.

And just to get everyone in the mood for eating delicious food, here’s a picture of some chopped up ingredients I did for my grandma when I was at her house on New Year’s Day.  Yum!
